APRIL 2011 There's a moment in April when Dandelions appear en masse. It does not last long, perhaps a week or so, and then they go to seed (if they have not been mown down by the council contractors). For those few days, however, they make a blaze of colour on road verges and grassy fields, a reminder that even the very commonplace can be spectacular. |
